Uncertainty Grows As Travellers Reconsider Planned March Trips

Several intending travellers have expressed deep concern over the uncertainty surrounding their proposed journeys. One of them explained that they were informed the airspace would reopen on the 6th of March and that visas would be processed to enable their travel. Despite this assurance, doubts remain due to the tense atmosphere.

Another prospective traveller, Salihu Shu'aibu, admitted that the unfolding events have left him anxious and confused. He said he is now considering cancelling his trip altogether because of fear and the unpredictable situation.

Hajiya Bilkisu also shared her worries, revealing that she has chosen to postpone her journey until next year. According to her, the risks involved are simply too great to ignore at this time.

She emphasized that leaving her family behind without certainty about safety is a decision she cannot make. Although she acknowledged the importance of faith, she described the trip under the current conditions as something that feels more like a gamble than a calculated decision.

In Ilorin, another intending traveller, Ola Abdul, lamented how recent global tensions have disrupted his earlier plans. He noted that the crisis involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has significantly affected his preparations.

Previously, his main challenge had been raising enough money to complete his payment for the trip. However, the new developments in the region have shifted his focus from financial concerns to safety fears.

Now, like many others, he finds himself uncertain about what step to take next, as the volatile situation continues to cast doubt over planned travels.
