Nigerian Singer Asake Granted Rare Access To Sacred Medina Prayer Spot

Asake was reportedly given a special privilege during his visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina while observing the holy month of Ramadan. The Nigerian music star is currently in Saudi Arabia for a spiritual journey and pilgrimage.

During his visit, the singer was allowed to pray in a secluded area inside the Holy Mosque that is believed to have historical links to Prophet Muhammad. Access to certain sections of the mosque is usually restricted and carefully managed due to their religious significance.

A video circulating online captured the moment the singer was guided through the mosque while many other worshippers were praying in the general prayer area. The footage quickly attracted attention on social media, especially among his fans and Muslim viewers.

In the video, a mosque official wearing a vest labeled "Ask Me" escorted Asake toward the restricted area. Such officials typically assist visitors and help manage the large number of pilgrims who visit the mosque daily.

The guide then opened a small wooden door that led into the special section. Asake was allowed to enter the space privately, highlighting the unique nature of the access he was granted.

As soon as the singer entered the area, the door was gently closed behind him while other worshippers remained outside in the main prayer hall. This ensured that the sacred space remained orderly and respected.

Al-Masjid an-Nabawi is one of the holiest mosques in Islam and a major destination for Muslims visiting Saudi Arabia. Millions of pilgrims visit the mosque every year to pray, especially during Ramadan and the annual Hajj season.
