Netanyahu Claims Israel’s Military Campaign Weakens Iran, Hamas & Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has defended Israel's recent military operations against Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah. He said these groups no longer pose major threats due to Israel's sustained and strategic actions.

Netanyahu spoke on Sunday during a visit to the IDF Northern Command with Defence Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir. He described Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas as weakened forces struggling to survive.

He praised Israeli military commanders for conducting a "multi-arena campaign" and emphasized that Israel has strengthened both offensive and defensive operations to prevent attacks on its cities.

Netanyahu highlighted the results of Israel's "immense force" against its adversaries, pointing to cracks in Iran's leadership and the elimination of thousands of Hezbollah fighters. He also noted the 2024 killing of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah as a major blow to the group's military power.

Despite the gains, Netanyahu admitted that Hezbollah still has some capacity to launch rockets. He said ongoing discussions with military leaders aim to fully neutralize the remaining threats. Reports also suggest Israel may invite the United States to relocate some Middle East military bases to Israel after the conflict.

International reactions have been critical. European leaders, including Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, condemned Israel for restricting religious activities in Jerusalem, calling it a violation of religious freedom. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney echoed the concern, stressing that all faiths should worship freely without fear.
