In Gaza City, the civil defense agency reported that at least 10 people, including a toddler, were killed in separate Israeli strikes in northern parts of the Palestinian territory on Tuesday. The incident highlights ongoing violence despite a ceasefire that was meant to reduce fighting in the region.

The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, but clashes and accusations have continued between Israel Defense Forces and Hamas. Both sides regularly blame each other for violating the agreement, making the situation unstable and dangerous for civilians.

According to civil defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal, four people were killed when a police vehicle was targeted in Gaza City. Among the victims was a three-year-old child named Yahya Al-Mallahi. Several others were also injured in the strike, and the victims' bodies were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital.

Another incident occurred in Beit Lahia, where one person was reportedly killed by Israeli fire. The Israeli military stated that its troops had identified an armed individual approaching their position near the so-called Yellow Line and carried out a strike, though it remains unclear if this was the same incident.

Later in the day, more casualties were reported in the Al-Shati refugee camp, where multiple people were killed in another strike. According to hospital reports, five bodies were received after a drone attack hit a group of civilians near warehouses storing electricity generators. The Israeli military did not immediately comment on this particular strike.

The current conflict follows the escalation that began after the October 7 attacks. Since the ceasefire started, at least 757 people have reportedly been killed in Gaza, according to local health authorities. However, due to media restrictions and limited access, independent verification of casualty figures remains difficult.
