The United States and Iran have both warned that they are prepared for possible conflict as negotiations between them remain stuck and uncertain. The situation has become tense as a ceasefire deadline approaches, raising fears of renewed fighting and wider instability in the Middle East.

The United States said Vice President JD Vance is ready to travel again to Islamabad for another round of talks aimed at ending the crisis. Washington says the goal is to find a peaceful solution, but progress has been slow and uncertain so far.

However, Iran has not confirmed whether it will take part in the next talks. Iranian officials accused the United States of breaking the truce by blocking Iranian ports and seizing a vessel, which has further increased tension between both countries.

Iran's parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said the United States is trying to force Iran into surrender rather than fair negotiations. He also warned that Tehran is fully prepared to respond if military action is taken.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump was also mentioned in Iranian statements, with accusations that his approach could push negotiations toward renewed conflict instead of peace. Iran claims such actions are making dialogue more difficult.

Meanwhile, Iran's Revolutionary Guards have warned that they could target any ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz without permission. This key waterway is important for global oil transport, and any disruption there could have serious effects on international markets.
