Trump Says White House Shooting Will Not Stop Iran War

US President Donald Trump said a shooting during the White House Correspondents' Association dinner would not stop him from continuing the Iran war. He told reporters at the White House that the incident would not affect his focus or determination to continue his policies regarding Iran.

Trump said, "It's not going to deter me from winning the war in Iran." He added that he does not believe the attack was directly connected to the Iran conflict, although investigations are still ongoing to determine the real motive behind the incident.

According to Trump, the suspect appears to be a "lone wolf," meaning authorities do not currently believe he was working with a larger group. Officials said the attacker was stopped quickly before he could enter the main ballroom where the event was taking place.

Trump was not injured during the shooting. However, one law enforcement officer was hit in a bullet-resistant vest and is expected to recover fully. Secret Service agents responded immediately and safely removed Trump and other top officials from the area.

The suspect was identified as Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old man from Torrance, California. Authorities said he was carrying a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives before he was stopped by security officers near the checkpoint.

Trump described the presidency as "a dangerous profession" and said threats like this are part of the job. He praised the Secret Service for their fast action and confirmed that the attacker never reached the event hall. US Attorney Jeanine Pirro said the suspect is facing firearm and assault charges, with more charges expected as investigations continue.
