Saudi Puzzle Game Showcases Islamic Golden Age Scholars Globally

RIYADH: A puzzle-adventure game centered on famous scholars of the Islamic Golden Age is helping place Saudi Arabia on the international gaming map, according to its creator.

Since Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched the National Gaming and Esports Strategy in 2022, several Saudi gaming initiatives backed by both public and private sectors have emerged.

Among them is "House of Hikmah," also known as "House of Wisdom," the first Saudi narrative puzzle game to explore the rich history of the Islamic Golden Age — a remarkable period of scientific, intellectual, and cultural progress spanning from the 8th to the 13th century.
