Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki, aged 42, comes from a respected family known for its long-standing contribution to Islamic scholarship and leadership. He is the grandson of Sheikh Ibrahim Dasuki Imam Fulani Agaka, the 8th Chief Imam of Ilorin, and the son of Sheikh Maliki bn Dasuki Agaka, the 10th Chief Imam of Ilorin.

Following the legacy of his forefathers, Sheikh Dasuki has dedicated his life to Islamic education, preaching, and community service. He is the founder of Darul Bisharah Arabic and Islamic Studies in Egbejila, Ilorin, where he has played a significant role in nurturing students in Islamic knowledge and moral values.

He previously served as the Imam of Afsat Oloriegbe Memorial Mosque, Oko Olowo, where he led both the daily congregational prayers and the weekly Jumu'ah prayers. His leadership and commitment to religious duties earned him respect among worshippers and members of the community.

Beyond the mosque, Sheikh Dasuki is widely recognized for his media outreach efforts. He has anchored the popular Al-Bisharah Islamic Foundation Ramadan programme on Radio Kwara, using the platform to educate listeners on Islamic teachings and contemporary religious issues during the holy month of Ramadan.

In addition to his preaching activities, he serves as a teacher at Darul Kitab College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Gaa Akanbi, Ilorin. Through teaching and mentoring, he continues to contribute to the development of future Islamic scholars and leaders.

Academically, Sheikh Dasuki possesses a strong educational background. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Shari'ah from  in 2014 and also holds a Diploma in Arabic Islamic Education from . He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Islamic Studies at , further strengthening his expertise in Islamic scholarship and education.
