Hezbollah Leader Demands Complete Israeli Withdrawal From Occupied Lebanese

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has declared that Israel has no option but to completely withdraw from all occupied Lebanese territory. He made the statement during a televised speech, describing the recent understanding between the United States and Iran as a setback for both Washington and Israel.

Speaking during Ashura, an important day of mourning for Shia Muslims, Qassem said Hezbollah remains committed to protecting Lebanon's sovereignty. He insisted that Israeli forces must leave every part of Lebanese land they still occupy.

The speech was delivered in Beirut's southern suburbs, where tens of thousands of Hezbollah supporters gathered to mark Ashura. Many participants carried Hezbollah and Iranian flags during what became the group's largest public gathering in recent months.

Qassem also praised the resilience of Hezbollah supporters despite ongoing regional tensions. He said the movement would continue to stand against what it considers Israeli aggression and would not abandon its goals.

According to Qassem, any lasting stability in southern Lebanon depends on Israel's full withdrawal from occupied areas. He maintained that Lebanon's territorial rights must be respected and that external pressure would not change Hezbollah's position.

His remarks come at a time of continued political and security tensions in the region, with international attention focused on developments involving Lebanon, Israel, Iran, and the United States. The speech reflects Hezbollah's ongoing stance on the conflict and the future of southern Lebanon.
