More than 300 international speakers, experts and media professionals are expected to participate in over 150 sessions and workshops at the sixth annual Saudi Media Forum next year, according to the event's president, Mohammed Al-Harthi.

Speaking at MIPCOM, an annual television industry trade show held in Cannes, France, on Thursday, Al-Harthi said the forum aims to bring together media organizations, investors and content creators to promote partnerships and investment in the rapidly evolving global media industry.

Organizers announced in July that the three-day event would take place from February 1 to 3 next year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the patronage of King Salman. The forum will focus on digital transformation, sustainability and media talent development, featuring contributions from international media leaders, policymakers and industry experts.

Three additional events will run alongside the forum: the Future of Media Exhibition, the third Media Innovation Camp and the Production Market, a specialized platform designed to facilitate business opportunities within the media industry.

Al-Harthi said the Saudi Media Forum was expanding its activities to establish itself as a sustainable international platform that goes beyond the traditional format of an annual conference.

He also highlighted Saudi Arabia's institutional capabilities, leadership and long-term vision, arguing that these strengths position the country to respond effectively to crises and challenges of different levels and complexity.

The upcoming forum is expected to provide opportunities for international collaboration, investment and knowledge-sharing while exploring emerging trends shaping the future of the global media landscape.
