During a Cabinet meeting, the Crown Prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to making the pilgrimage safe and smooth for all Muslims. He said the country is honored to continue serving millions of pilgrims who come every year for the sacred journey.
Pilgrims from countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, India, and Turkiye have already started arriving in the Kingdom. Their arrival marks the beginning of the annual pilgrimage season, which is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, known as the Hajj pilgrimage.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman also instructed all government agencies to fully use their resources to ensure strong security, organization, and health measures. His goal is to provide the best possible services for pilgrims in Makkah, Madinah, and other holy sites, as well as at airports, seaports, and land borders.
At the same time, the government is monitoring regional security issues, including developments in maritime activity around the Strait of Hormuz. Saudi Arabia said its long-term investments in energy security help it continue supplying energy to the world even during regional tensions.
Internationally, ceasefire talks between the United States and Iran remain uncertain as a temporary truce is close to ending. Both sides have warned they are ready to resume conflict if no agreement is reached, raising concerns about possible effects on global stability and supply chains.
