ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has advised Muslims who want to perform Hajj in 2027 to start preparing early. Officials said pilgrims should get their travel documents ready as preparations for next year's Hajj have already started in Saudi Arabia.

The government said Hajj 2027 bookings may be completed within just two months. This is because Saudi Arabia has already released plans and timelines for the upcoming pilgrimage season and has begun early arrangements.

Pakistan's Hajj minister told reporters in Islamabad that people planning to go for Hajj should make their passports now. He explained that early preparation will help avoid last-minute problems and ensure smooth booking.

The minister also thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their support to Pakistani pilgrims. He added that less than one percent of pilgrims complained this year, showing improvement in services and management.

This year, Pakistan managed arrangements for about 179,000 pilgrims. Around 119,000 went under the government scheme, while about 60,000 traveled through private tour operators for Hajj.

Authorities said Hajj management is a very large yearly operation. They also noted that improvements are being made in accommodation, transport, food, and complaint handling to make the pilgrimage easier in future years.
