United States President Donald Trump has announced that he is cancelling previously planned military strikes and bombings against Iran. The announcement comes after what he described as positive discussions with senior Iranian leaders regarding a possible agreement aimed at reducing tensions.

According to Trump, negotiations have made significant progress, with key issues reportedly agreed upon in both principle and detail. He stated that the remaining documents are expected to be finalized within the next few days, paving the way for a formal agreement.

The announcement marks a notable shift in tone after two nights of military exchanges between Iran and Israel. Earlier on the same day, Trump had warned that the United States would strike Iran "very hard," making his latest statement a surprising development.

Trump said a signing ceremony could take place in Europe and claimed that financial markets reacted positively to the news. He pointed to a sharp rise in stock market indexes as evidence that investors welcomed the possibility of a peaceful resolution.

However, Iranian authorities have not officially confirmed that any agreement has been reached. Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency urged caution, stating that Trump's remarks should be viewed carefully until an official announcement is made by Tehran.

The U.S. president also stated that several countries, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Egypt, were involved in discussions surrounding the proposed settlement. He added that the naval blockade would remain in place until all agreements are formally signed and finalized.
