The three ballistic missiles were specifically targeting Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj. Saudi forces acted quickly to neutralize them before they could cause any damage.
In addition to the missiles, two drones were shot down in northern Riyadh, while another drone aimed at the Shaybah oil field was intercepted in the Empty Quarter desert. A fourth drone was destroyed in the northern province of Al-Jouf.
Officials noted that these attacks appear to follow a repeating pattern, with waves of missiles and drones being launched around midnight. Analysts believe the strikes are part of a broader regional escalation.
