Iran has estimated that damages from recent United States and Israeli strikes have reached approximately $270 billion, according to government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani on Tuesday, April 14, based on initial evaluations.

Mohajerani explained that war reparations remain a key issue being pursued by Iran's negotiating team, including during recent discussions held in Islamabad.

She clarified that the $270 billion estimate is not final, as the full extent of the destruction will require further phased assessments.

Tensions in the region intensified after the United States and Israel carried out joint military strikes on Iran on February 28, leading to thousands of casualties.

In response, Iran launched retaliatory attacks targeting Israel, Iraq, Jordan, and several Gulf nations hosting US military facilities before a two-week ceasefire was reached last week.

Subsequent negotiations between Iranian and US officials in Islamabad, Pakistan lasted 21 hours but concluded without any agreement.
