The goal of this project is to provide better services for pilgrims during Hajj while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability across all important locations.
This plan requires strong cooperation between different government agencies to make sure all services run smoothly. Authorities are working together to support pilgrims and ensure that every part of the Hajj process is properly managed without delays or major problems.
Waleed Al-Dughays, the director general of the Makkah branch, said that preparations included reviewing challenges faced in previous Hajj seasons. Officials also updated operational systems and created a full risk register to identify and prepare for possible problems before they happen.
The implementation period of the plan will continue until June 6. It covers Makkah, the holy sites, and support areas in Jeddah governorate. Important locations included in the plan are operations centers, slaughterhouses, public markets, and temporary shelters used during the Hajj season.
Al-Dughays explained that the main purpose of the plan is to ensure smooth coordination among all responsible authorities. This helps them respond quickly during busy periods when millions of pilgrims are moving between different locations for Hajj rituals.
He also said that field monitoring is a major priority this year. This will help improve response times, increase readiness, and make it easier for officials to manage different operational situations effectively throughout the Hajj period.
