The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Commissioner, Hajia Obi, visited Nigerian pilgrims and educated them about the approved luggage policy for their return journey from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria. She explained that each pilgrim is allowed two checked bags weighing 23kg each and one hand luggage of 8kg.

She stressed the importance of following these baggage rules carefully. According to her, compliance with the guidelines will help prevent delays, confusion, and other challenges during airport departure procedures.

Hajia Obi noted that proper adherence to the luggage regulations is necessary for smooth travel arrangements. She explained that return flights have already started, making it important for all pilgrims to cooperate with officials and follow instructions.

During the visit, she interacted with the pilgrims and listened to their experiences during the Hajj pilgrimage. She expressed happiness over their wellbeing and praised their discipline and good conduct throughout the spiritual exercise.

The Commissioner also delivered a goodwill message from the Chairman of NAHCON, Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf. She said the Chairman was pleased with the behavior of the pilgrims and appreciated their cooperation, discipline, and commitment to their religious duties.

Hajia Obi further encouraged the pilgrims to continue praying for the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma. She commended the governor for his continuous support for pilgrims and his commitment to improving their welfare and overall Hajj experience.
