General Discussion / US Offers $10 Million Reward F...
Last post by Awwal - Today at 07:59 PM
The United States Department of State announced on Friday that it is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information about Mojtaba Khamenei and several other Iranian officials. The offer is part of efforts by the United States to gather intelligence on individuals it believes are connected to international terrorism activities.

Among the officials mentioned on the list are Eskandar Momeni, who serves as Iran's Interior Minister, and Esmail Khatib, the country's Minister of Intelligence and Security. In total, 10 individuals were identified by the US government as persons of interest.

According to the State Department, these individuals are believed to lead or coordinate operations within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The US government claims that the IRGC plans and carries out activities that support terrorism in different parts of the world.

Officials also encouraged anyone with useful information to send it securely through anonymous communication channels such as the Tor browser or the Signal messaging app. The State Department said people who provide helpful information could receive financial rewards and may also qualify for relocation for their safety.

The reward is part of the US government's Rewards for Justice program, a long-running initiative designed to collect intelligence about individuals involved in terrorism. The program offers money to people who provide information that leads to the capture, arrest, or prosecution of wanted suspects.

Mojtaba Khamenei is the son of Ali Khamenei. Reports say that Ali Khamenei died in a bombing on February 28, during the early days of the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran. His death marked a major turning point in the tensions surrounding the ongoing war.

Ramadhan / When Will Ramadan 1447 AH End ...
Last post by Adelola Malik - Today at 06:49 PM
All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Today is Friday, the 24th of Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to 13 March 2026. Muslims around the world are approaching the final days of the blessed month of Ramadan, a time filled with fasting, prayer, charity, and seeking forgiveness from Allah.

According to the Islamic calendar, the 29th day of Ramadan 1447 AH will fall on Wednesday, 18 March 2026. On the evening of that day, Muslims will observe the sky to sight the crescent moon that signals the beginning of the next Islamic month, Shawwal.

If the crescent moon is sighted on the evening of Wednesday, 18 March 2026, then Ramadan will end on that day. Consequently, the first day of Shawwal 1447 AH and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr will be on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

However, if the crescent moon is not sighted due to clouds or other reasons, Ramadan will complete thirty days. In that case, Muslims will continue fasting on Thursday, 19 March 2026, and Eid al-Fitr will then be observed on Friday, 20 March 2026.

This ruling is based on the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ regarding the beginning and ending of lunar months. Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Fast when you see the new moon and break your fast when you see the new moon. If clouds prevent you from seeing it, then complete thirty days." This hadith is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

Islamic scholars also emphasize that moon sighting should be based on reliable observation within each region or country. This means that Muslims in one country should follow their own confirmed moon sighting or official announcement rather than automatically following the sighting of another country.

This principle is supported by the narration of Kurayb, in which Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما explained that the people of different lands may begin or end fasting based on their own sightings. This practice was in accordance with the command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and scholars such as Imam al-Tirmidhi noted that the people of knowledge act upon this tradition.

May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds during this blessed month. May He forgive our sins, grant relief to those facing hardship, bring peace to the world, forgive our deceased, and grant us entry into Jannah without reckoning. Ameen.

News / Syria Demands Assad Handover W...
Last post by Adelola Malik - Today at 06:43 PM
The Syrian government has formally demanded the handover of former president Bashar al-Assad along with other individuals accused of involvement in alleged crimes during his rule. This request comes as the country begins implementing a transitional justice process aimed at addressing past political and legal grievances. Authorities say the move is part of efforts to rebuild national institutions and establish accountability after years of conflict and political instability.

According to Syria's justice minister, Mazhar al‑Wais, the government is committed to pursuing justice while balancing national reconciliation. He emphasized that the demand for the extradition of former officials is essential for the legal process and for restoring trust among Syrian citizens who were affected by past policies and actions under the previous administration.

Al-Wais explained that a recently issued general amnesty decree was introduced due to urgent legal and legislative challenges facing the country. He described the decision as a "pressing necessity" given the complex judicial environment inherited by the new government. According to him, the decree was carefully designed to comply with constitutional requirements and existing legal frameworks.

The amnesty decree was issued earlier in the week by Syrian President Ahmed al‑Sharaa. The order grants a general amnesty for certain crimes and also reduces sentences for others. Government officials say the measure is intended to ease pressure on the judicial system while offering many citizens an opportunity to reintegrate into society.

Authorities confirmed that the implementation of the decree began immediately after it was announced. The justice minister revealed that approximately 1,500 detainees have already been released under the new policy. Officials say the releases were conducted after reviewing individual cases to determine eligibility under the amnesty terms.

Al-Wais also estimated that the total number of Syrians who may benefit from the decree could reach about 500,000 people. This large number reflects the wide range of cases affected by the long years of conflict and emergency laws that led to the detention or prosecution of many individuals across the country.

The Syrian government maintains that the transitional justice process will continue alongside the amnesty program. Officials say both initiatives aim to promote national reconciliation while ensuring that serious crimes are still addressed through proper legal channels. Authorities believe this balanced approach could help the country move toward stability and a more unified future.

News / Mojtaba Khamenei Issues First ...
Last post by Akinola Kholid - Today at 06:35 PM
Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has released his first public message after the death of his father, Ali Khamenei. His father had led Iran since 1989 and was reportedly killed during the early stage of the conflict involving the United States and Israel. The attack also killed several Iranian security officials and members of the Khamenei family. In his message, Mojtaba Khamenei promised that Iran would seek revenge for the deaths.

The statement was read on Iranian state television instead of being delivered directly by the new leader. There was no video, audio recording, or new photograph of him. The broadcast only showed an old image of Mojtaba Khamenei alongside a computer-generated flag of Iran. Because of this, many people are still unsure about his current location and health condition.

In the message, Khamenei strongly rejected any idea of peace with Iran's enemies. He said the country would continue pursuing revenge until justice is achieved. According to him, Iran may demand compensation from its enemies, and if they refuse, the country could respond by seizing or destroying their property in return.

Khamenei also referred to a deadly attack on a school in the southern Iranian city of Minab. Iranian officials say the strike killed about 150 people and blamed the United States for the incident. However, reports from American investigations suggested the missile hit the school due to a targeting mistake during military operations.

The new leader also warned that Iran has several ways to pressure its opponents. One of the strategies mentioned was the possibility of blocking the Strait of Hormuz, a very important route through which a large portion of the world's oil supply passes. He also hinted that Iran could open new fronts in the conflict through allies and groups across the region if the war continues.

Finally, Khamenei spoke emotionally about the personal losses he suffered in the attack. He praised his father as a great historical figure and said he saw his body after the strike. He also confirmed that his wife, sister, nephew, and brother-in-law were killed in the same incident. Despite these losses, he said he would remain firm and continue leading Iran during this difficult time.

News / Nigerian Singer Asake Granted ...
Last post by Akinola Kholid - Today at 06:18 PM
Asake was reportedly given a special privilege during his visit to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina while observing the holy month of Ramadan. The Nigerian music star is currently in Saudi Arabia for a spiritual journey and pilgrimage.

During his visit, the singer was allowed to pray in a secluded area inside the Holy Mosque that is believed to have historical links to Prophet Muhammad. Access to certain sections of the mosque is usually restricted and carefully managed due to their religious significance.

A video circulating online captured the moment the singer was guided through the mosque while many other worshippers were praying in the general prayer area. The footage quickly attracted attention on social media, especially among his fans and Muslim viewers.

In the video, a mosque official wearing a vest labeled "Ask Me" escorted Asake toward the restricted area. Such officials typically assist visitors and help manage the large number of pilgrims who visit the mosque daily.

The guide then opened a small wooden door that led into the special section. Asake was allowed to enter the space privately, highlighting the unique nature of the access he was granted.

As soon as the singer entered the area, the door was gently closed behind him while other worshippers remained outside in the main prayer hall. This ensured that the sacred space remained orderly and respected.

Al-Masjid an-Nabawi is one of the holiest mosques in Islam and a major destination for Muslims visiting Saudi Arabia. Millions of pilgrims visit the mosque every year to pray, especially during Ramadan and the annual Hajj season.

The Iran national football team has strongly responded to comments made by Donald Trump about their participation in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup. The team said that no individual or country has the authority to prevent them from playing in the global tournament.

The World Cup will be hosted by three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Iran successfully qualified for the tournament after performing well in the qualification matches. However, tensions in the Middle East have created uncertainty about whether the team will participate.

The situation became more complicated after the United States and Israel reportedly launched joint strikes on Iran. The attacks allegedly killed the country's supreme leader and increased political tensions in the region. In response, Iran carried out retaliatory attacks against some states allied with the United States in the Gulf region.

Earlier, the head of Iran's football federation, Mehdi Taj, said it might be difficult for the country to look forward to participating in the tournament due to the ongoing crisis. After that statement, Trump posted on the social media platform Truth Social, advising the Iranian team to withdraw from the World Cup for what he called their "life and safety."

In response, the Iranian national team rejected Trump's suggestion. In a statement shared on Instagram, the team said the World Cup is governed by FIFA and not by any political leader or country.

The team also emphasized that they earned their place in the tournament through strong performances and determination. According to the statement, Iran qualified early after several important victories. They concluded by saying that no one can exclude Iran from the World Cup, adding that the only country that could face exclusion would be a host nation that cannot guarantee security for participating teams.

Troops of the Nigerian Army operating under Operation HADIN KAI have arrested a suspected member of the terrorist group Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP). The suspect was reportedly caught while transporting motorcycle tyres and other maintenance spare parts from the Timbuktu Triangle area, according to military sources who confirmed the incident on Thursday.

The arrest was made during a military operation aimed at disrupting logistics networks used by insurgent groups in the northeastern region of Nigeria. Security operatives believe the suspect was supplying essential items that help maintain motorcycles commonly used by militants for mobility during attacks and movements across difficult terrain.

During interrogation by troops, the suspect admitted that he was affiliated with ISWAP. He also disclosed details about the structure of the group he belonged to, including the leaders overseeing the camp where he operated.

According to the suspect, he came from the Markas (camp) located in Kauwa and operated under the leadership of Hamzala, with assistance from another commander identified as Abu Umar. He claimed that his main responsibility involved purchasing motorcycle tyres and spare parts from markets and delivering them to the insurgent camp.

The suspect explained that he usually bought the motorcycle tyres from Bajoga in Gombe State. From there, he navigated through several locations including Kukuwa, Gumsa, and Azare before crossing through Buratai and eventually returning to the Timbuktu Triangle where the supplies were delivered.

He further revealed the profit system used in the transactions. According to him, he purchased motorcycle tyres at the price of ₦13,000 each and resold them to the insurgents at ₦25,000 as a wholesale supplier. The markup provided significant profit while ensuring the fighters received necessary equipment.

In addition to tyres, the suspect also traded spark plugs and other small motorcycle parts. He stated that plugs were bought for about ₦350 in Nigeria and resold to the group at higher prices, sometimes reaching ₦600 or more, showing how supply chains are exploited to sustain insurgent operations.

Nigeria's Defence Minister, Christopher Musa, has said that terrorist groups often increase their attacks during the holy month of Ramadan. According to him, many extremists wrongly believe that if they die while fighting during Ramadan, they will automatically enter heaven. This belief, he explained, pushes them to carry out more violent actions during the fasting period.

The minister made this statement after attending a closed-door security meeting with Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The meeting lasted for almost two hours and included top Nigerian security chiefs who gathered to discuss the growing security challenges in the country.

During his discussion with journalists after the meeting, Musa said that terrorist groups like Boko Haram usually step up their attacks during Ramadan. He explained that these fighters think dying in battle during the holy month will bring them spiritual rewards, which motivates them to carry out more operations.

The minister also noted that this dangerous belief encourages extremists to commit serious crimes without fear. According to him, they see death during this period as something honorable, which makes them more willing to attack communities, security forces, and innocent civilians.

Because of this pattern, the Nigerian military and other security agencies have started adjusting their strategies. Musa said the government is closely monitoring terrorist movements and strengthening operations to prevent attacks, especially in areas that are often targeted during the Ramadan period.

Many of the recent attacks have been reported in the North-East region of Nigeria, where insurgent groups have been active for many years. The government says it remains committed to improving security and protecting citizens from terrorism while continuing efforts to defeat extremist groups operating in the country.

News / FBI Reports “Allahu Akbar” Sho...
Last post by Akinola Kholid - Today at 05:26 PM
The United States was shaken on Thursday after two violent attacks happened within hours of each other in different parts of the country. One attack took place at a university in Virginia, while another targeted a synagogue in Michigan. Authorities say the incidents occurred more than 700 miles apart but both struck places that are usually considered safe, such as classrooms and houses of worship.

Investigators are currently examining the two incidents as possible acts of terrorism. Security experts say the attacks come at a time when global tensions are rising, especially due to the ongoing conflict involving Iran and Israel. Officials believe the international situation may have increased security concerns and threats in several countries, including the United States.

The first incident occurred at Old Dominion University in Virginia. A gunman reportedly entered a classroom where Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) students were attending a class. According to investigators, the attacker suddenly opened fire inside the classroom, causing panic among the students.

The FBI reported that the suspect shouted "Allahu Akbar," an Arabic phrase meaning "God is greater," during the attack before firing at students. The situation quickly became chaotic as students tried to escape and protect themselves from the gunfire.

Despite the danger, several ROTC students acted bravely and confronted the attacker. Their quick response helped stop the shooting before it could become even more deadly. Authorities said the students were able to subdue the gunman, preventing what could have turned into a much larger tragedy.

Meanwhile, another attack occurred hours later in Michigan where a vehicle was reportedly used to target a synagogue. Law enforcement officials identified the suspect in that incident as 41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a U.S. citizen originally from Lebanon. Authorities are continuing investigations into both attacks as communities across the country remain on high alert.

Ramadhan / Zakatul Fitr: Important Charit...
Last post by Awwal - Today at 11:58 AM
Ramadan is gradually coming to an end, and today marks the 24th day of this blessed month. As Muslims prepare for the celebration of Eid, it is important to remember one important obligation known as Zakatul Fitr. This special charity is required from every Muslim who observed the fast of Ramadan. It is a way of completing the fasting period with kindness and generosity toward those in need.

Zakatul Fitr is a compulsory charity that must be given before the Eid prayer. It helps to purify the fast of a Muslim from mistakes or shortcomings that may have occurred during the month of Ramadan. The Prophet ﷺ said: "The fast remains suspended between heaven and earth until the Sadaqat al-Fitr is paid." (Reported by Abu Dawood and Ibn Majah). This shows the great importance of giving this charity before Eid.

The purpose of Zakatul Fitr is not only spiritual purification but also to support the poor and needy. Islam encourages Muslims to share their blessings with others so that everyone can experience happiness during Eid. When Muslims give Zakatul Fitr, it ensures that less privileged people also have food and can celebrate the day with dignity and joy.

The Prophet ﷺ instructed that Zakatul Fitr should be given in the form of staple food commonly eaten in the community. Examples include rice, wheat, dates, corn, millet, and other local grains. Each person is required to give one Sā', which is approximately four mudus or about twelve cups of grain. This amount is given on behalf of each member of the household.

Many Islamic scholars advise that the charity should be given as food rather than cash because that was the practice during the time of the Prophet ﷺ. However, if someone gives money to a trusted Islamic organization or representative who will use it to buy food for the needy, it can still fulfill the purpose of the obligation.

Zakatul Fitr must be given before the Eid prayer. If someone delays it until after the prayer, it will only be counted as normal charity and not as Zakatul Fitr. Therefore, Muslims are encouraged to give it early so that the poor can benefit from it on the day of Eid. May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and acts of charity during this blessed month. Ameen.
