The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has threatened to kill Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel. In a message published on Sepah News, the group described Netanyahu as a "child-killing criminal" and said they would continue pursuing him with full force if he is still alive. The statement has increased tensions as the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to escalate.

The threat came shortly after rumors spread on social media claiming that Netanyahu had been killed or seriously injured. However, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) quickly denied the reports. Israeli officials also released different statements to counter the viral rumors and confirm that the Prime Minister was still alive.

The current conflict became much worse after a major military attack earlier this year. On February 28, 2026, Israel and the United States launched surprise airstrikes on several locations across Iran. During the attack, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several other top Iranian officials were reportedly killed. The attack shocked the world and pushed the region into a dangerous military confrontation.

Iran responded quickly by launching missile and drone attacks on Israel, United States military bases, and countries allied with the US in the region. Since then, both sides have suffered casualties as the war continues. The conflict has also affected the global economy, especially as oil prices have increased due to rising instability in the Middle East.

According to the Israeli Health Ministry, 108 people were taken to hospitals within 24 hours due to injuries related to the conflict. Most of the injured people were reported to be in good condition, while a few suffered moderate injuries. Some people were also treated for anxiety caused by the ongoing attacks and tension.

Officials also said that since the war started on February 28, about 3,195 people have been hospitalized, including civilians and soldiers. Meanwhile, in Iran, authorities arrested 20 people accused of cooperating with Israel by sending information about military locations. Reports also say Israel has started a new phase of its operation by targeting security checkpoints after receiving intelligence from informants inside Iran.
