US Military Blocks Iranian Ports Deploys Troops And Warships

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced a major military operation to block ships from entering and leaving Iranian ports. This move is expected to increase already high tensions in the Middle East and draw global attention to the growing conflict.

According to a statement released in Arabic, the operation involves more than 10,000 U.S. military personnel, including sailors, Marines, and Air Force members. These forces are supported by over twelve warships and many aircraft, showing the large scale and seriousness of the mission.

Within the first 24 hours of the blockade, the U.S. military reported full compliance from ships in the area. No vessel attempted to break the blockade, while six commercial ships followed instructions and returned to Iranian ports near the Gulf of Oman.

CENTCOM explained that the operation applies to all ships, no matter their country, targeting vessels going in and out of Iranian ports. However, the U.S. says it is still respecting international laws by allowing free movement for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz if they are not heading to Iranian ports.

This action marks a serious rise in tension between the United States and Iran. The situation could affect global oil supply and international trade, especially since the Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important routes for oil transportation in the world.

The crisis comes after a series of conflicts between both sides, including reports of a joint U.S.-Israeli operation that killed Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks on U.S. bases and tried to disrupt oil shipments, leading to further escalation and the current blockade.
