Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel's recent actions inside Lebanon. In a statement released by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday, the Kingdom described the move as a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Saudi Arabia emphasized that such actions threaten regional peace and stability.

The Kingdom expressed its firm rejection of any military activity that infringes upon Lebanese territory. It stated that respecting the sovereignty of nations is a fundamental principle of international law and should be upheld by all countries.

Saudi Arabia also called on the international community to take urgent steps to stop the escalation. The Kingdom urged global powers and international organizations to fulfill their responsibilities in preventing further conflict and protecting civilians from the consequences of military confrontations.

In its statement, Saudi Arabia highlighted the need to safeguard Lebanon's independence, security, and territorial unity. The Kingdom stressed that the safety and well-being of the Lebanese people should remain a top priority for all parties involved.

The Saudi government further reaffirmed its support for the implementation of the Taif Agreement. It noted that the agreement remains an important framework for strengthening national unity and ensuring that the Lebanese state exercises authority throughout all parts of the country.

Saudi Arabia also emphasized the importance of limiting the possession of weapons to the Lebanese state and its legitimate institutions. According to the Kingdom, compliance with Lebanese government decisions on this matter is essential for restoring security, strengthening state institutions, and achieving long-term stability in Lebanon.
