Saudi Arabia Executes Five Citizens Convicted of Terrorism

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday that five Saudi citizens had been executed after being convicted of terrorism-related crimes.

According to a statement published by the ministry on the social media platform X, the offences included joining a foreign terrorist organisation, attacking security forces and targeting security headquarters and vehicles with weapons and explosives.

The ministry also said the individuals were convicted of possessing weapons and live ammunition, as well as providing financial support for terrorist activities and helping to carry out operations within the Kingdom.
