Iran has announced that it is fully ready for its national football team to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States. This statement shows confidence from the government that the team will compete successfully despite ongoing regional tensions and political challenges.

Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani confirmed that all necessary steps have been taken to support the team. She explained that the Ministry of Youth and Sports has completed preparations to ensure the players can perform at their best during the global tournament.

Speaking on the state broadcaster IRIB, she said the preparations were carried out under the direct supervision of the sports minister. The focus has been on providing the team with all the facilities and support needed to compete strongly on the world stage.

She clearly stated that everything required for the team's successful participation has already been arranged. This includes logistics, training support, and overall planning to avoid any disruptions before or during the competition.

Iran has already qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, securing its place among the world's top football nations. This achievement highlights the team's strong performance during the qualification rounds.
